New York Republican George Santos expelled from Congress
Members of the House of Representatives voted 311-114 Friday morning to expel New York Republican George Santos from Congress. Santos is the sixth House member ever to be expelled from Congress.
Santos is accused by prosecutors of a number of financial misdeeds, including reimbursing himself for loans to his congressional campaign that he appears to have never actually made — in essence, stealing money from campaign donors.
Almost all Democrats and more than 100 Republicans voted to expel Santos, who will now be replaced in a special election.

A murderer’s row of top hip-hop producers including DJ Premier, Swizz Beatz, Mustard, The-Dream, Mike Will Made It, No I.D, Hit-Boy, Take A Daytrip and Tainy will release EPs via Mass Appeal’s “Hip Hop 50 the Soundtrack,” as part of the company’s #HipHop50 campaign in celebration of the genre’s 50th year. The producers will drop a series of 10 EPs of all newly released music.
Kicking off in the first quarter of 2022 and dropping every quarter, each 5-track EP will be curated by a different producer.

A Minnesota woman allegedly killed her ex-husband and buried him in her backyard before telling police he had gone away to smoke marijuana in Oklahoma, officials said Monday.
Karina Her, 40, of St. Paul was charged with second-degree intentional murder after she allegedly shot her 50-year-old ex-husband, Kou Yang, twice in the back of the head and built a shed over his buried body in the yard.
Yang's remains were discovered almost a month later after a neighbor complained of a foul odor that Her blamed on pigeon droppings from a nearby coop.
